Educational Program “Nutritional Adventures”
During the 2020 – 2021 and the 2021 – 2022 school year, the Prolepsis Institute implements a series of online educational activities, the "Nutritional Adventures", aiming at the promotion of healthy eating and physical activity, with the kind support of the AB Vassilopoulos company.
The scientific team of the Prolepsis Institute consists of many nutritionists and health promotion specialists, in collaboration with educators and theatrologists, implemented the program in 5.000 schools throughout Greece, for the 2020 – 2021 school year.
The program is being implemented for the second consecutive school year to 10.000 students in various regions of the country, such as Attica, Thessaloniki, Volos, Drama, Veria, Patras, Rhodes.
– Younger students (1st, 2nd and 3rd grade) will have the opportunity to travel to the Land of the Delicious Kingdoms and through a theatrical game full of puzzles, colors and imagination will find all the pieces of the puzzle of healthy nutrition!
– The older students (4th, 5th and 6th grade) will get to know the basic concepts of nutrition, food groups, frequency and proportions of meals, as well as the need to reduce food waste in order to protect the environment through interactive trivia games, group activities and exercise.
For the needs of the educational program’s implementation, a relevant permit has been obtained from the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs.
