By texting the word DIATROFI to 54534 you support the Program on Food Aid and Promotion of Healthy Nutrition – DIATROFI and you help students experiencing food insecurity and hunger in socio-economic vulnerable areas of Greece (SMS is charged at 1.48 € each including VAT 23%). 

Each donation shall be doubled by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, founding donor of the DIATROFI Program, in a way to provide more meals needed. 

The DIATROFI Program is implemented by Prolepsis Institute and is managed under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs. Since school year 2012-2013 over 11.5 million meals have been delivered in approximately 480 schools and 80,000 students in Greece. 

This year, the Program is implemented in 212 schools in Attica, Thessaloniki, Imathia, Thrace and Sterea Ellada with a total of 16,412 students. However, more than 2,070 schools from all over Greece have applied to participate in the Program since the beginning of this school year. This number corresponds to 16% of public schools in Greece and to approximately 250,000 students.
