PARTNER Project: The inaugural partner meeting
February 5, 2025
The inaugural partner meeting of the European project PARTNER was held today at Prolepsis Institute. PARTNER (Participatory Approach for Training, Empowerment, and Health Education Resources in Prisons), funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union, aims to bridge the gap in health literacy and education for both People Living in Prisons and prison staff, fostering a healthier and more informed prison community.
On the first day of the meeting, project partners outlined the initiative’s overall framework and objectives and exchanged insights from initial interventions in a correctional facility.
The meeting will continue tomorrow, Thursday, February 6.
PARTNER is a three-year initiative implemented by a consortium of organizations from Italy (ASST – SPH), France (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Montpellier), Greece (Prolepsis Institute), and Moldova (National Administration of Penitentiaries), under the coordination of the University of Pisa (Università di Pisa – UNIPI).
