A seminar on Medical Writing was organised on the 3rd and 4th of September by Prolepsis and Novartis

Results of the European Conference on “Disparities in Public Health Training in the European Union: Tools for Harmonisation”

A large number of newspapers published concerning the conference and more extensively concerning the results that Dr Athena Linos presented on the lack of harmonisation of the training of health professionals in the European Union. They also focused on the disparities in the European Union in terms of medical specialties and the need for harmonisation in that respect, as well as the need for Greece to "catch-up" especially as far as public health related specialties are considered.

Prolepsis in Migrant Health Conference in Europe

Participants from more than 20 countries and organizations, including Prolepsis, presented their data and discussed the current status of health care system in European countries and the new challenges that health care professionals and policymakers are confronted with as a consequence of increased migration.

Participation of Prolepsis in the Second International Conference on Rural Health

A hospital-based case-control study was carried out in Athens, Greece, using a standardized questionnaire. The sample was extensively interviewed regarding demographic, socioeconomic and biomedical characteristics including residential, occupational, personal and family medical histories, dietary and smoking habits, exposure to occupational and agricultural related chemicals.
