Presentation of the National Dietary Guidelines
On Thursday, October 16 -World Food Day, the formal presentation and distribution of the National Dietary Guidelines begun. An eight-volume collection that includes the work of 2 years of 40 Greek and foreign scientists. More specifically there are four volumes which are targeted at scientists as they contain scientific documentation and four that are targeted to the general public.

The scientific team of the Institute of Preventive Medicine, Environmental and Occupational Medicine, Prolepsis, in cooperation with many Greek and foreign scientists and Professors undertook a 2-year Project called "Ev Dia…Trofin", with the main goal to develop, produce and disseminate the National Dietary Guidelines.

Verified by RASFF in an announcement on the safety and purity of Greek products. Excellent quality Greek products were distributed to students in primary and secondary education during the 2013-14 school year through the Diatrofi Program.
