The “Crossing Bridges” project was successfully completed
The “Crossing Bridges” project was successfully completed in June 2012. In the framework of the project a course was developed for health care professionals working in the area of cross sectional collaboration in the area of health. The course was then delivered through national trainings to health professionals from nine countries. Over 200 participants took part in the trainings which were characterized as successful. The main conclusion was that these types of trainings should be repeated more frequently. Working closely with other sectors for the promotion of public health is essential especially given the current economic crisis.
